PINTEREST NAILED - CROCHETED BABY BOOTIES

So the whole world is having a baby girl this summer! Okay not really, but 6 women I know are, so I thought I would crochet some cute baby booties. Of course, I went looking on Pinterest to find baby bootie patterns.  My first, second and third choices all turned out to be bad links or booties for sale. However the fourth time was a charm and  after a little extra clicking to get to the actual pattern post, I was able to make these cute adorable lime green mary jane style booties:

They were fast and easy, I think it took an hour to make the pair.  I bought cute little flower buttons to sew on to the straps instead of making crocheted flowers for the bootie. I like the fact when you are crocheting and creating something, you can alter it just a little and make it your own, an original. I made the newborn size 0-3 months, however, there are 3-6 month and 6-12 month sizes patterns available.
